“He was an amazing fighter, one of the greatest of all times,” Briggs remarked. “To be in the ring with him was crazy, his presence, his jab, everything was like ‘damn’.”
Briggs vividly recalled the intensity of Foreman’s blows, emphasizing the lasting impact they had on him. “He hit me so hard I couldn’t believe it,” Briggs admitted. “I couldn’t sleep for two weeks. He gave me vertigo, he was hitting hard.”
