Serena Williams’s recent Instagram post is sure to give you an energy boost, especially if you’re knee-deep in wrapping presents.
The video shows Williams intensely attacking a punching bag, with none other than legendary boxer Mike Tyson holding it steady, providing resistance.
The comment section is filled with words of encouragement. “You’re just amazing! My idol! ❤️😍” one fan gushed. Another fan couldn’t resist a playful jab at Tyson, saying, “Mike looks like he’s struggling to hold the bag.” LOL.
Williams and Tyson are currently in Florida at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, attending a pre-training camp organized by Williams’s trainer, Patrick Mouratoglou.
Williams, along with other tennis players, is gearing up for the first Grand Slam tennis competition of 2020, the Australian Open, set to take place in January. Tyson has also been seen working out with Coco Gauff.
However, it seems Williams might steal the spotlight. She has shared multiple photos with Tyson during their time in Florida.
In one snapshot, they’re posing as if gearing up for a match, while in another, Tyson is seen raising her glove, acknowledging her status as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time).
“Undisputed!” commented Williams’s husband, Alexis Ohanian. Singer Ciara chimed in, saying, “Love this!” Needless to say, many people were thrilled to see these two incredible athletes together.
Tyson also posted a video with Williams on his Instagram. In the clip, he offers Williams a few pointers before stepping behind the bag as she unleashes her power.
“Hitting the bag with @serenawilliams at @bocaresort,” he captioned the post. “She has some power 🥊” He also shared a photo similar to those on Williams’s page, expressing his admiration: “I don’t want to get in the ring with this GOAT @serenawilliams. Much love and respect.”
