“Lil Yachty recently shared his perspective on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud, expressing a wish that the battle had remained between the two artists without involving others.

"ped*philia… a woman abuser… theres no proof to either one… I wished it was only Drake & Kendrick… when Kendrick came like 'I hate this n*gga' everyone was… pic.twitter.com/eRjLgtaZ1z
“I think Drake has always faced that kind of criticism,” he remarked. “He’s always been polarizing. It’s unfortunate. I really wish it had stayed between Drake and Kendrick. It felt like when Kendrick made his feelings known, suddenly everyone was on board, which is weak. It was a great battle. I don’t think we’ll see anything like it again… I think it’s done. It peaked with ‘Not Like Us.’ It’s a hit.”
Yachty also expressed his belief that Drake was unfairly judged from the outset.
“Drake was labeled the loser before the battle even began because people have always had mixed feelings about him, despite his longstanding success,” Yachty explained. “Even if the majority say Kendrick won, I don’t think people will stop listening to Drake or that his career will suffer.”
Given Yachty’s friendship with Drake, his perspective is understandable. Do you agree with his assessment? Has there been a lingering desire for Drake’s downfall?”
