Lennox Lewis, the most recent undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, is considering a stunning return to the boxing ring, following in the footsteps of Mike Tyson’s upcoming bout against Jake Paul.
Lewis, who held all major titles in 2000, boasts an impressive record in the ring, with 41 wins out of 44 fights, including 32 knockouts.
While Lewis has been retired since 2004, speculation about his potential return has surfaced.
In an interview with The Guardian, Lewis hinted at the possibility, stating, “never say never,” particularly if the financial incentive is significant.
At 58 years old, the same age as Tyson, Lewis acknowledges that if the conditions are right, he would “100% consider it.”
Despite his diverse ventures post-retirement, including boxing analysis, poker playing, film appearances, and participation in Celebrity Apprentice, the allure of the ring seems to remain for Lewis.
With Tyson’s comeback at the forefront, the idea of Lewis stepping back into the ring becomes a compelling topic, especially if the offer is lucrative.
