Mike Tyson had ‘one strict condition’ before agreeing to Jake Paul fight (VIDEO)

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are set to clash in a highly anticipated boxing match, marking Tyson’s return to the ring alongside Paul, promoted by Netflix.

In a tweet, Netflix announced the event as a live boxing showdown at AT&T Stadium, exclusively available for streaming on Netflix. The match is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, under the hashtag #PaulTyson.

Tyson’s condition for the fight, as revealed on the Club Random Podcast in May 2022, was to break pay-per-view records. However, the decision to stream the event to all Netflix users contradicts this requirement.

Tyson’s perspective on Paul highlights him as a fighter deserving of recognition, despite societal perceptions. He acknowledges Paul’s skill and marketing prowess, describing him as a natural promoter.

The bout has received official sanctioning as a professional contest, with the heavyweight showdown comprising eight two-minute rounds.

Both fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves without headgear, allowing knockouts in this professional setting.

The agreement for a professional bout was mutual between Tyson, Netflix, and Paul, with the stakes set as winner takes all.
